About the Guidelines
These guidelines have been developed out of research that was undertaken at distance delivery sites in four Australian states. The research involved interviews with principals, with teachers, with learners, and with others considered significant in the language learning process. Expert teachers of language were also shadowed in order to assist in the compilation of an understanding of what constitutes ‘best practice’ in the distance delivery of languages. |
