It is particularly important that schools and systems explore the Best Practice Guidelines, and that teachers, in addition to this, familiarise themselves with the competencies that are associated with teaching via distance both in terms of the generic skills and attributes, and also with respect to the specific skills and attributes associated with different delivery modes and technologies. The information contained collectively in these three documents is pertinent to all those associated with the teaching, learning, support and administration of language learning via distance delivery, particularly within the Australian context. |
